Peter is of the Crow Clan of the Tahltan Nation of Telegraph Creek, BC.
He is a recent graduate
of the Emily Carr Institute of Art and Design. He received a diploma
in 2000 and then continued on to complete his degree in the following
semester of 2001. Peter’s first solo exhibition was at the Grunt
Gallery, 0ct 2001, titled “these are my creations, says Crow,
you can’t take them away”, his work was well received by
his contemporaries. Other works have also been exhibited in several
other venues such as Artropolis 2001, exhibitions at the First Nations
Creations Gallery, his work was a part of the 2002 BC Festival of the
Arts and he was also one of the IASO delegates to the festival. Peter
has been on the member of the board for the Grunt Gallery, for the past
3 years, as well as, a member at the First Nations Creations co-op.
For the last year Peter has been working for Redwire Nation Youth Media;
which is an independent Aboriginal Youth media society, located in Vancouver.
