My work is influenced by harmony. Harmony is at the
foundation Diné philosophy of life and as a result
harmony plays an important role in my work. Believing
and understanding that everything in, on and above the
earth is alive and exists in harmony, has allowed me
to begin to see and understand the way materials can
think, plan, and move. They are the teachers and
ultimately through their cooperation, people can be
educated about issues which affect and disrupt the
harmonious balance that exist among all.
