Artist Biography

Ann Fuata is a performing artist whose repertoire expands over seven years in movement including ballet, contemporary dance, theatre, physical theatre, circus to martial arts. During that time she has been involved in the Brisbane arts and cultural scene where her interests in interdisciplinary work began to spark. Some of these inspirations were drawn from events including Two High Womens’ Festival, YAMP (Young Artist Mentorship Program), Straight Out Of Brisbane, participating in community workshops to being an audience member at a Small Black Box gig.
