nok tûrne' ( noc·turne) ... online dictionary:

1. A painting of a night scene.
2. An instrumental composition of a pensive, dreamy mood, especially one for the piano.

A visual and aural feast for the senses, Nokturne highlights the many Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander perspectives of the importance of nightfall : respite from the heat, inspiration from the cosmos, learning over the fire, party time, moonlight swims, a dance, a chant in a forbidden language, preparing for combat, and a promise of tomorrow.
